Futuresource has conducted research across a sample of 4,000 consumers in four countries for this report, reviewing the following:

-The main methods and devices used to share digital images
-Usage of specific websites and mobile/tablet applications
-Consumer photo activity; including type of equipment owned, frequency of use and number of photos taken
-Purchase of photo products; including usage of Smartphones as a purchasing channel.

A total of 4,000 online surveys were carried out with randomly selected consumers in the France, Germany, the UK and the USA aged 18 and over.
All surveys were carried out in October 2014.
