The French Video Entertainment market declined in 2016 by 2% after stability in 2015. The key drivers of this has been declining uptake for pay-TV and packaged video, with digital video unable to compensate. Overall video entertainment will continue to decrease in the forecast period, however Home Video specifically will see growth from 2019 onwards from healthy uptake of SVoD and EST.
