Futuresource are looking for a Sales Executive to join the Sales team. Futuresource head office is based in the St Albans, UK. We are looking for a candidate either based in the UK (willing to consider remote working) or the United States, East Coast.

Core Competencies

  • Achieve annual sales target (Exclusively working with new logos to expand Futuresource’s customer base) via a consultative sales approach
  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads and outbound sales activity via phone and email
  • Use of Salesforce to track activity and monthly forecasting
  • Conducting sales meetings with customers and delivering company sales pitches
  • Onboarding customers and ongoing customer service, including arranging client debriefs on all closed sales
  • Package and sales negotiation
  • International travel to meet with clients when required including attending industry trade shows
  • Assisting with Futuresource events as required
  • Proficient understanding of market research industry, research methodology, client’s business, and products & services suitable to meet the client’s needs

Additional Responsibilities

  • Through customer discovery recognise when a prospects needs requires escalation for a bespoke engagement with a senior member of staff

  • Able to provide a full company pitch with details of a single service area

Desired Experience

  • Up to 1 years’ experience in sales or customer facing role
  • Experience use of Microsoft office
  • Ideally you will have an interest in technology
  • A degree would be an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Develop and retain own industry research network, in addition to maintaining Futuresource's existing contacts
  • Conduct in-depth primary industry research within specific market segment.
  • Utilise own initiative to identify unique sources of primary research
  • Support in the creation of discussion guides, across both Futuresource's syndicated and custom assignment work

Job Overview/Purpose

You will be responsible for Futuresource’s large enterprise customers, managing relationships with some of the largest and most influential technology and entertainment companies in the world. Selling to a global market you will need to approach each client with an inquisitive attitude and solutions orientated mindset to match the available research and expertise of Futuresources to the clients’ requirements. This role will require selling to multiple time zones and international travel.
This role will be based in either the UK (remote) or USA (East Coast Time Zones only)

Desired Experience
• Proven sales experience preferably in Business Information/Intelligence or other business service for at least 5 years
