Consumer Insights Analyst

The Company

Futuresource are a knowledge-based research company with a growing international client base. Our specialist market tracking, insights and consulting services focus on the technology and entertainment industries and are consumed through a subscription and ad-hoc licencing model. Our client base spans blue-chip corporations to technology start-ups, and includes hardware vendors, content owners, component manufacturers, application developers, distributors, retailers and investment houses.

The Futuresource offices are based in St Albans, however for this role we are considering all applicants located anywhere in the UK. Depending on the candidate’s location, this role will be remote/hybrid working.

The Role

We have ambitious plans to expand our business around the world, and we are recruiting for a Senior Research Executive, with around 2 years’ experience (client or agency side), to join our growing Consumer research team, working across our custom research projects and our established consumer research programmes. Working directly with some of the world’s largest tech brands.

The successful candidate will contribute to projects end-to-end, working with relevant internal and external stakeholders at each stage from initial questionnaire design through to the development and production of insightful deliverables for clients and presenting the findings back to them. In time, there will be the opportunity to develop the role and take more ownership of our custom research projects and consumer research programmes.

Essential Skill Sets

  • Minimum 1 -3 years market research experience (client or agency side)

  • Ability to analyse and find the ‘story’ in data, in order to answer the client’s objectives

  • Ability to design a PowerPoint report, displaying data in a visually engaging way

  • Can write clear and concise headlines that make the most relevant findings clear

  • Able to present findings confidently to clients

  • Experience of project managing consumer research projects end-to-end, ensuring it is managed in line with the proposal

  • Able to write engaging questionnaires that will answer the research objectives

  • Confident working with large and complex data-sets

  • Experience with fieldwork management, including managing panel providers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Advantageous Skill Sets

  • Experience working on proposals/ new business

  • Commercially minded
