The average household spent $179 on Video, Games and Music entertainment content globally, up 4% from 2016 as the appetite for entertainment continues to expand. This equates to a total spend of US$375 Billion, by 2021 this is expected to reach US$439 billion.

Although spend on Music is also growing faster than video (7% CAGR), as it is from a much lower base the net increase remains smaller than on Video therefore music will account for 6% of total spend worldwide on entertainment
