As we approach nearly 6 years on from the start of the pandemic, US schools are finally reaching the start point of a major fleet refresh for a
substantial majority of devices initially purchased during the pandemic in 2021, and shortly after, benefitting from numerous federal response funding schemes. These devices now at their end of life, schools are under immense pressure to navigate the next few years in their device procurement choices, particularly in the absence of government funding.
In addition to large proportions of device fleets at their end of life, schools are also facing the end of Windows 10 support back in October, requiring many to either upgrade or find alternatives to their eligible Windows devices.
