Building on more than 20 years of experience in tracking the global display market, Futuresource clearly maps out how core technologies are competing and coexisting, providing a comprehensive video wall market analysis for any enterprise with interests in the display industry.
After a deep market decline in 2020, worldwide video wall market size expanded by 27% in 2021, achieving a combined value of $8.3 billion, and exceeding pre-Covid levels by 4%. The market grew another 8% in 2022 to break the $9 billion barrier.
Looking forward, Futuresource forecasts a CAGR of 16% out to 2026, when the market will be worth more than $17 billion.
Since Futuresource Consulting’s last report, the LED video walls market, including NPP and UNPP, has become the leading video wall technology by value. A serious threat to incumbent tiled display technologies, LED video wall market share is already expanding across a broad range of vertical markets, and looks set to dominate video wall solutions within the next five years.
LCD video wall value has partially recovered, yet it was never expected to exceed pre-Covid levels. Futuresource expects its five-year outlook to remain flat. The market for RPC continues to experience decline, with the traditional purchasers opting for either low value installations that utilise LCD technology, or premium end solutions that are shifting over to LED.
