The front projector market is forecast for long-term decline. However, not all segments of the market will decline at the same rate. Mainstream B2B and Large Venue will prove to be most resilient due to demand from emerging territories for a lowcost, large-format display solution, coupled with demand from high-end segments for projection’s creative potential.
The overall trend for the front projection market over the past few years has been negative and though this decline is forecast to continue in the short-to-medium term, there are clear pockets of growth. Promotional activity in Q2 has kickstarted the recovery of the dedicated home segment and strong demand for projectors for large venues and installations will continue in the short term. In emerging country markets, education and low-cost corporate solutions remain highly significant.
