The current report follows major announcements at Computex 2024, where AI-ready silicon featured in almost every product. Key players in the chip industry, including Nvidia, Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, and ARM, showcased AI-enabled PCs with specialised chips to run AI applications directly on the device. This marks a significant leap in user interaction with PCs.
However, the majority of industries are still “trying for size” AI tools before committing to major investments. This is particularly true for the education sectors, as both K-12 and Higher Ed institutions explore use cases for AI tools, while simultaneously trying to preserve and enhance the human element of teaching and learning.
To drive meaningful, widespread adoption, there needs to be proven time-saving efficiencies for teachers and measurable improvements in learning outcomes for students.
