The global Interactive Displays outlook for CY2025 is for volume and value declines. The Chinese domestic market remains challenging, with a consolidation in K-12 Education (schools being merged) and a high level of Interactive Display teaching space penetration.
In the USA, COVID-related Federal Education funding ended in June 2024 and K-12 Education is now heavily penetrated by Interactive Displays. In the USA and EMEA, K-12 Education remains (as it was in CY2024) focused on replacing classroom Chromebooks/PCs/Tablets purchased in CY2020/CY2021. Consequently, global Interactive Displays sales volumes are falling.
Due to an increasingly crowded brand landscape and resultant competition, Interactive Displays ASPs are in decline, especially in the K-12 IFPD Education sector. The reasons for this again included ODM overcapacity and resulting FOB price decreases, competition amongst the brands for end-user orders and some brands offering lower-priced non-OS IFPDs for the first time in CY2024.
