The session delved into the evolving expectations of consumers, driven by premium headphones and branded car audio systems. Panellists discussed how today’s vehicles are not just transport—they’re dynamic sound environments, adapting in real time to road noise, connectivity, and user context. From AI-driven infotainment and spatial audio to cloud-based personalisation, the conversation revealed how automotive is shaping the future of soundbars, headphones, and home audio. 

Seamless continuity and personalisation 

With over half of users now relying on smartphones as their main source of in-car content, the panel explored the technical and non-technical barriers to seamless transitions between home, mobile, and vehicle. The experts highlighted the role of AI agents, context-aware systems, and cross-device integration in delivering effortless, emotionally resonant experiences. Regional and generational differences were also discussed, with insights into how privacy, regulation, and cultural habits are influencing adoption worldwide.
